So Guys, We've been super busy due to our new shop opening in the Queens Arcade Shopping Centre located in Cardiff City Centre, but now we hopefully have settled in and are all sorted to get back to doing some cool blogs for you all.
Firstly this blog is just going to be about the shop and whats happened in the last few months and what is to come for Over Seas Apparel, so sit back and just have a little read if you fancy it. ( I have added some pictures swell to break it up as Im not the biggest fan of reading if I haven't got a picture to look at as well. )
THE NEW STORE
Hi, thats me Liam Jones outside the new shop and I know its bigger and better. We now stock a huge range of stock compared to the pop-up that we had before christmas 2017,when you come in-store or online you can find things from embroidered tote bags to stylish and eye catching t-shirts, hoodies and new embroidered swimming shorts.
All of the items that we sell are for you all to use day in day out and we want you all to be happy with what you buy and feel comfortable wearing it or using it.
We have also brought out some new sweater shorts and bumbags as everyone needs the essentials for a festival or two. The bumbags ranging from £14-£16 are cheap but awesome , they are selling out fast so make sure you get one sorted for your first festival of the summer.
We now do one offs for customers, so if you've been looking for a t-shirt in a particular colour or a backpack or even a kitchen apron we can do it for you with no extra costs, its all gravy!! AT THE END OF THE DAY WE WANT Y'ALL TO BE HAPPY.
WHO DOESNT LIKE A LIL DEAL
Little add ons are available in store, so, you always get free stickers with every purchase and then a free paper bag with our logo on it or if you fancy it, you can get one of our £1£2 tote bags which are a range of three colours. Buy one for a £1 and get £2 off your next purchase, its a nice little deal and you get a smart tote bag as well.
THE SHOP VIBE
Chilled music (always at a good volume so that you can have a good chit chat unlike these poxy chain stores. The only time the volume may go up is when an absolute smasher of a song comes on), a relaxing sofa with a range of books and magazines to browse through and also now with our new and exciting basketball hoop which was handmade aswell of course and our new (old) xbox set up, we really do have a great spot for anyone to come and chill in.
So pop in for more than just a browse just come in and chill, we aren't all about sales we want to build a community around the brand and give you all a place to come and have a laugh. Just think every time you come into town you normally have to buy a stupidly expensive coffee of a chocolate chip muffin (with only one chocolate chip in it) just to be able to sit down for a bit, you can come and eat your munch in the shop and get to chill with us for free, what more would anyone need in the middle of a day of shopping.
The xbox by the way has games ranging from Fifa Street to Lego Star Wars, but we like to try to keep stuff on topic so Skate 3 is the top of our playing list, again though just come in and feel free to play whatever tickles your pickle.
Its been great these past three months in our new store and we are seeing more and more regulars popping back for a laugh or just show their face and say hi.
If you want to come in on your lunch you DO IT, if you want to come in just to have a little sit down DO IT or even if its just to have a play on the XBOX do that as well, honestly you are welcome. At the end of the day you guys are the reason we can stay open and develop our brand and our business in every way possible. WE LOVE YOU ALL.
SO WHATS BEEN HAPPENING
A range of new designs and collections have been produced for the new shop including our OG Wave logo collection with a new range of colour ways, our Another Day At The Office (ADATO) collection, Sunny Daze collection including new items such as bumbags and 6-panel adjustable caps and also our newest collection to our store the Sailing Sunset collection which brings minimal but striking artwork and a fantastic range of pastel colours together to really push the collection to a higher level.
We have tried to bring you guys a range of designs for any outfit or style. Bringing simple and detailed together by using screen printing by yours truly and also the embroidery is simple but cool as heck. As a brand we are trying to listen to you guys in as many ways as possible from the styles and designs we develop to the layout and vibe of the store.
When we first started the brand whilst on an art course in 2016,we never would have thought that two years later we would still be going and going better than ever. The shop just before christmas gave us a great idea of what we could push ourselves to do and what we would be able to do in the near future.
Remember that in store you can ask for the one offs that you'll want to wear every day.
Up to date we have developed one offs for around twenty customers ranging from backpacks and hats to T-shirts and stickers, so honestly just give us a shout.
GQ
We also have now got one of your T-shirts in British GQ for three months, I know GQ, pretty mad.
From just getting the email from them to now, We still find it weird looking through the fashion collection in BRITISH GQ and finding our Tee smack bang in the middle of the page.
We've got copies of them in store, if you do want a little read or just have a look at the mag for free, pop in its no problem.
YAKADEMICS
So guys we are sponsoring these lovely people on an amazing trip, I will give you a little bit of info on them but all you need to know is at the link just at the bottom of this section.

Crazy things can come just from one person ( Joe Froud ) coming into our shop and buying a tee for himself, so much love for these guys.

So JULY 20TH is the date and £2 is the price!!
The night consists of Live Music, free alcohol and food, fresh new designs, an art exhibition and a Skate 3 and Fifa Contest to win some cheeky new stock in store.
So you are probably thinking what cool place is this going to be held at, well we are hosting it in store for you all to come and have a great laugh and chill out with your mates and maybe to make some new ones. 5pm till 8pm are the times to remember its going to be a good one so don't you dare miss it.
So the live music is by the very talented DYME. they are absolutely awesome and also its going to be their debut gig so you don't want to miss it its going to be awesome. Remember to check them out before the night on Spotify and iTunes.
